AGI Greenpac at NACD Fall Expo 2026: Sustainable and Premium Packaging Showcased in Chicago
AGI Greenpac Ltd participated in the NACD 2026 Fall Expo, held from 28 to 30 September 2026 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Chicago. Over three days, our team met packaging distributors from across North America and presented a wide portfolio of sustainable and premium packaging solutions built for the next generation of spirits, beauty, food, beverage and pharmaceutical brands.
What Is the NACD Fall Expo?
The NACD Fall Expo is organised by the National Association of Container Distributors, the leading trade body for rigid packaging distribution in the United States. The 2026 edition welcomed more than 400 registered attendees and over 50 exhibiting suppliers. Alongside the exhibit hall on 29 September, the programme included distributor education sessions on recyclability regulation, extended producer responsibility and connected packaging, topics that closely match where our industry is heading.

What AGI Greenpac Showcased
Speciality Liquor Bottles
Our distinctive glass bottles for tequila, whiskey, wine, vodka and brandy drew strong interest. With elegant shapes and refined finishes, they protected spirit quality while doubling as decorative pieces for collectors and connoisseurs.
Beauty and Cosmetics
Visitors explored luxury perfume bottles, decorative diffuser jars, light-protective cosmetic jars and durable foundation bottles. The range combined protection against light and air with a premium aesthetic suited to high-end beauty and personal care lines.
Caps and Closures
Our closures featured security elements such as safety inks, tamper-evident seals and unique identifiers for authenticity and end-to-end traceability. We also presented our Artsy Collection of eco-conscious wooden caps, closures and T-Corks for premium spirits and perfumes.
Pharmaceutical Glass Packaging
Our Type II and Type III primary glass packaging, available in flint and amber from 5 ml to 4000 ml, covered dropper bottles, syrup and medicine bottles, injection vials, infusion bottles, and tablet and ointment jars.
Food and Beverage Glass Jars and Bottles
We displayed specialty and commercial jars for the F&B industry, along with bottles for juices, milk and water. Each design preserved freshness, protected flavour and delivered excellent shelf appeal.
Hero Highlight: Colouring Forehearth Technology
The centrepiece of our stall was AGI’s Colouring Forehearth Technology. It produced coloured glass by adding colourants in a dedicated forehearth section, without changing the entire furnace load. Visitors learnt how it offered:
- Enhanced flexibility: rapid colour changeovers and smaller batches, ideal for seasonal or limited-edition lines.
- Superior finish: colour that stayed intact without scuffing or fading.
- A palette of possibilities: over 15 shades, including Eco Flint, blues, greens, grey, pink, violet and black.
